i just had the nicest shower in my entire life in canberra..its called the "steam shower"!!!!
omg!! its so freaking cold over in canberra now!!!
its 7 degree celsius here at night...
I am like wearing 3 layers of long-sleeved tops..
wearing socks and i need to buy gloves and heater tml!!!!
I cant stand the cold already!
It gets even worse in the morning....
i dont even feel like opening the window at all!
Anyway an update on yesterday...
we went to dickson without yoshi and eugenie..
both were busy with mid-sem exams this coming week...
We took a bus from civic and reached dickson in 20 mins
We almost got lost!!!
Dickson wasnt a really nice place...
it just had rows of asian shophouses
and we went into 3 shops to buy our asian food cravings
I bought the most, i think!
I bought Ma-mee, nissin cup noddles(tom yum!!),
korean ginseng tea.. and some packets of chips and prawn crackers..
Michael wanted to drink sakae...!!!!
I think he miss it alot!!
So, we shared a bottle of sakae, one bottle of asahi beer, kirin beer..
and headed back to ursula hall for dinner...
dinner sucks... turkey with mash potaotes...
but i like the dessert! vanilla ice-cream! <3
Went kailin's room and we drank and watched Attention Please!

Got more boring thou.. so we all went back to our own rooms..
anyway michael was drunk!!
He drank the sakae not in a small glass cup.. but in a normal cup..
like he is drinking coke or water....haha
and as usual yoshi and tomomi were cuddled together...
i shant say more.. just 3 lightbulbs in the room that day... haha..
hmm... having money and market finance quiz tml! wish me luck!

Back to my blogging duties thou i am really lazy!!but anyway i was really busy last week..
Had Microecons test and DAB quiz on the same day!
I think both wil get the same fate!!
Last weekend went to Civic with my clique
me, kailin and michael decided to leave some quality time for....
tomomi and yoshi.. ahem...
anyway... they are together!!! Thou not officially yet
BUT... real soon... hee...
Feel so happy for them... next up.. kailin and michael =X
Anyway, i bought snacks again...
And just now i actually bot 3 packets of chocolates!!
Kitkats and snickers... i just miss these chocolates...
haha... omg.. gonna get fat already!!!
Then on the way back to ursula hall
we stopped by Kim's groceries..
My favourite place in Canberra Civic area...
other than krispy kreme donuts, Koko Black, all the clothing stores
and probably michael's working place.. a jap restaurant
i haven been there.. but from what tomomi and the rest says..
it really seems like a nice place with good japanese food.. at last!
I think me and kailin will drop by someday.. hehe..
Back to Kim's groceries.. yes! i love it there!!
They have the spicy kimchi cup noddles..!!!
macha ice-cream, all sorts of korean/jap biscuits..
and of cos, kimchi!! <3
I bot one tub of kimchi home... so happy!!!

Hehe....alright... now talk about my trip to sydney!
Leaving on the 14th april 8am!!
Gotta drag myself out of bed.......
then continue sleeping on the bus! lol
i think kailin would do the same...
hmm.. it cost us 60AUD for the bus coach ride..
To and from sydney.... quite expensive rite?
Then for accomodation...we booked base backpackers hotel
32AUD per night..... i consider that rather cheap..
anyway we are staying till the 17th.. and wil be back at around 10pm
Just nice for a long sleep back in my room!!
Plans for the sydney trip include CHINATOWN
Its definitely we will be going there because we are all homesick!!
Especially me and kailin....
We were talking about the food back in spore and malaysia
and the malaysian seniors in ursula hall recommended us to go
this grocery area in Canberra called Dickson...
its further than Civic... and it sells all asian food!
Nissin cup noddles.. and indomi...haha
Besides chinatown, we might go to Bondi beach...if we have the time..
and sydney harbour bridge and opera house is also a must-go
And lastly we might go to the sydney aquarium...
other plans are still with yoshi.....yep =)
Ok.. now its back to my study duties... tomorrow's a longg day...

Today's a bad day for me!Not really bad but today i cant believe i was that BLUR!
First, i woke up late for lecture!
So i missed DPF lecture.. =(
Then i decided to go student admin to pay for my sch fees..
Cos deadline is tomorrow!!
After that i reached Manning clarke centre at about 10.45am
And sat at the bench....
I was waiting for 11am so that i can go for my dynamics of asian biz lecture
so when the clock strikes 11, and the students came out of the lecture
I went inside to prepare for the next class..
but i felt abit wierd cos e ppl around me all seems new-looking to me!!
Then i saw the lecturer coming in to set up the computer..
Its a different lecturer!!!
So i exited the lecture and went to look at the lecture room
and its say MCC T3 which is correct
my lecture is supposed to be at MCC T3!!
then i asked this girl who was about to enter the hall
and she said its E-METHODS
i got even more confused and i looked at my timetable
Oh! my lecture is supposed to start at 12pm, not 11am!!!!!
Almost had a heart attack!!
Cos i dont wana miss another lecture again!!But there is one lucky thing that happened to me today...
I managed to get the last reading brick for DPF!!!
Because i just dropped history of econ thought
and take up development poverty & famine..
(As in a swap of the module)
I dint have time to get the reading brick
but when i got it today....
the person say i was lucky! its the last book!!!!!
whew!!!
Anyway i just came back not long ago from kailin's room
we were chatting about our trip to sydney in april!!
Yay!!! yokatta ne and sugoii!
All of us cant wait! and John is going to be our tour guide!
Cos he is from sydney...
Yoshi wasnt here cos he went to lib to study....
So.... its time for some fun....
esp for kailin.. since her hobby is bullying yoshi..
Michael drew a picture of "yoshi"
and kailin added some words into it...
Ta-da.... da masterpiece by us..
I only drew the ears and it wasnt my idea..
so.. i am actually very innocent
Then we pasted it outside yoshi's door
Hope he will get a surprise wen he is back
and he will surely go find kailin haha..
cos he knows its either her or michael..
Haha...
Anyway just now leonard told me the fireworks is this sat!!
And i am definitely going!!!!
Actually we were supposed to go "visit" michael at his workplace
He is working in a japanese restaurant as a waiter
haha i am sure yoshi just want to disturb him lo!!
but well, we postpone that to another week...
cos fireworks is more important!!!
And jared helped me and kailin get the Makan Picnic tickets!

Picnic day on sunday!!!!Solely organized by yoshi and kailin!!!

Woke up lazely at 9.40Am..
i have never woken up that early on a sunday!!
Regardless in spore or aussie..
Rush through the peparations and yoshi went MIA
Haha.. i went to kailin's room to help her carry the food
Michael and eugenie joined us and then yoshi appeared..
Dont know where he went.. haha
Took a longgg walk from Ursula Hall to the clock tower..
Well.. supposedly to be clock tower area..
but we walked for about 1 hour plus and we couldnt stand it!!
The heat from the sun was scorching!!
Haha ended up near the lake burley griffin..
They made sandwiches!!! Ham and cheese for the girls
Peanut butter for the guys
Hmm.. they bot breadsticks and cheese...
Bacon, crackers, salmon!!!!!!! Oiishi ne!!! the salmon!
the breadsticks with the cheese was soo umaii (delicious!)
Our drink that day was orange juice...
And while eating and chatting, we took pics
and had alot of entertainment!!
Entertainment in the sense of watching yoshi & michael..
"torturing each other" for the photos..
Haha.. the love-hate relationship between them..
Hmm and there was one really funny moment
I took a picture of michael trying to kick yoshi
And i showed them the pictures
Michael saw it and i guessed he dint like it
so he took my camera and ran off..
Yoshi was yelling stop!!
Kailin was chasing after michael..
Actually kailin just wanted to see the photos
but michael tot that she is after the camera
(well i mean she is in another sense)
Haha so michael ran away from her with kailin chasing
And at first i dint find it funny at all
But when yoshi took a picture of them running..
or rather kailin chasing michael from faraway
Me and eugenie began luffing sooo hard...
Up till now, kailin still dont understand why its funny
But whenever i think of it.. i started luffing..
haha.. better not think about it alone elsewhere..
where people will think i am crazy haha
After all the fun and entertainment...
We wanted to have some drinks at the nearby shop
so we had ice-cream(3 scoops) - rocher, mint and tiramisu
and also drinks... yoshi couldnt get enough of ice tea
so he bot 2 bottles...
After a tiring day but fun picnic...
we went back ursula and started mugging.. haha
Luckily the next day is Canberra Day..
I missed the fireworks!!! I heard there is.. darn..
anyway i think i wil wait fer april...
Heard from leonard will have...

Ursies commencement dinner ended yesterday!!!!Enjoyed myself alot!!! Had lots of fun..
even thou the food was not good at all!!
I think its even worse than our normal meals!
Cheese and some red stuff inside a chicken?!
And salad - which i dont really eat
And i missed e dessert!!!! cos busy taking fotos!!!
Haha....
We were all assigned random table numbers and i am at table 4!
The only ppl i know is Tom and Anders...
haha.. anyway we went out to meet yoshi at the courtyard
He was drunk! But not as drunk as michael...
Michael began making funny faces infront of cameras..
And b4 helping us to take fotos, he asked us to say "hippo!"
(note: not cheese.. hippo and other wierd names)
see how drunk he is!!!!
(normally he doesnt do that infront of gurls, esp!)
Haha oh and i forgot to mention....
Kailin wore a yukata!!!!! Nice!!!!
I also want!!!!!!!!!!!
Hee i wil upload fotos soon bah and u shall see..!!
After the dinner, we went to kailin's room...
Everyone was like asking us to go mooseheads with them..
But first, eugenie and wee keat had classes early tomorrow..
second, tomomi and kailin were quite tired
Third yoshi and michael had enough of drinking and they wil puke if continue
Lastly, i am not going alone without these people!!!
So thats how we ended up in kailin's room..
But its pretty boring so we decided to go to the lakeside nearby
It was very dark!!!
so me and kailin were like holding each other's arm
When we reached the place, it was very beautiful!!!
There were alot of stars up in the sky!!
Not like Spore.. when we see a shiny thing in the sky.. we will be like
"Hmm.. that's a satellite..LAH!"
We headed back to ursula at about 11pm...
Tired but enjoyable!

Friday 29th FebWe were supposed to attend the piano concert at school of music
But when we all reached there..
the place was full and tickets sold out!
Everyone was sooo disappointed especially kailin and me!!
Tom dint go but he did recommend and said it should be great..
And it was actually 4 people performing on one piano!!
yoshi joked and asked "why not one person on 4 pianos.." Lol
We stayed at the school of music for a while
to hide from the cold wind outside
Then Tomomi suggested going Civic so we walked over...
Reached Civic but dint buy anything much...
Went KoKo Black (Very nice!!!!)
Its a place which sells chocolates and chocolate drinks
yoshi treated us to a box of 16 chocolates which cost AUD29!
We all feel soooo guilty...
After that, as Tomomi wasnt feeling very happy that day...
She wanted to drink beer!
Passed by afew pubs (not clubs) which yoshi recommended
but we dint bring our passports so we cant enter..
then, kailin suggested going to supabarn to buy drinks..
So we went there but there was no beer!! no purely beer!
Anyway i haven tried drinking beer before.. so i took
a bottle of orange-flavoured barcardi...
which i normally drink in spore..
The rest tried a can of beer mixed with cola...
This time Kailin treated us!!!
Next we went to buy a large packet of fries and i treated them
Haha.. and yoshi keep saying he feels bad cos he's the guy
Walked back to Ursula Hall and its already 9pm..
We stayed at kailin's room to chat and gossip!!
hee i know some of their secrets wor! but cant say ah...
Chatted and listened to musicals!!
Out of the four of us, tomomi and kailin are crazy over them
while me and yoshi preferred orchestra....
Then i was telling tomomi which is alvin and which is melvin
and which is james...
Cos all 3 of them are singaporeans...
and alvin and james always stick together..
so while i was explaining which is melvin, alvin or james
Yoshi was saying to kailin
"huh.. what alvin, melvin, james, melvin, james, alvin..DARE???"
(Dare means who in japanese)
Cos yoshi doesnt know any of them... haha
At around 1am, i headed back to my room to sleep!!!
So tired!!!
