ah darn
i have a DAB exam on friday
yet i am here blogging
how nice
oh well, that's cos i am too bored studying
weightage is only 10%!!
and its considered a mid-sem exam

Anyway
Exams timetable is out... hooray
good news for ppl who want to see me faster..(lol)
i am probably going to be back in spore earlier...
only if the timetable doesnt change
thou i really hope they will change the econs and finance dates
They are just one day apart!
both are heavy modules
but i doubt anything will happen
cos i see some comments posted
and people have 2 exams on the same day!!
Horrifying... never done that before
i would totally freak out
and so far ANU have not made any changes despite that..
cold-blooded eh?

International Night next friday... 9th may
Everyone's going.. if not no dinner!!!!
in a dilemma
should we dress up as a hollywood or a bollywood character?
neither pls!
but my choice doesnt make any difference
cos i still have to choose between this 2!!!
ok.... i got a solution
depends on what kailin and the rest are wearing...
i will follow suit
clever rite?? muahaha

Day 2 of sydney trip

Better update in case i forget!!

Woke up rather early for brunch (lunch and breakfast)
cos we had an appointment at Allure hair salon!

a small japanese salon on the second storey
and the stylists are real japanese!

So cool~! かこいいね！

First, we had brunch at this store in the foodcourt
Its situated in Queen Victoria Building

At first supposed to go Hungry jacks for the pancakes!

but mike didnt want.. so we walked around and ended up here

Look what i ordered!!

So unhealthy rite!!!!

Haha but that is what i eat almost everyday in ursula hall

Though sometimes they have rice...

Uncooked rice, i mean..

And mike said he cant take oily food that early...

so.. he bought a roll of sushi...

we were all wondering if he gets full by eating just this..

Went for our haircut after that..

Tomomi and me were the first and mike the last

Apparently it was the "ladies first" concept =P

Yoshi and kailin went around on their own

i heard they took the tram! oh man!

Tomomi had quite a nice haircut with new bangs

My haircut was short! But everyone said it looks nice!

i think its ok.. just abit short... but i can live with it haha

Went shopping nearby and pass Chinatown

i bought 3 DVDs from a chinese shop

one of them is Yuukan Club.. haha

Before heading back to Base backpackers, we bot Krispy kreme!

Always our favourite, esp kailin! hehe

oh, ignore the half-eaten donut.. think it was..kailin's.. lol

And took a picture with kailin!

Cant really see my hair from here

at around 5.30pm, Mike went off on his own for shopping...

said he need to get some stuffs..

but we all can see that he wasnt pleased with his hair..

And mike told us to have our own dinner

so we went off without mike.. back to chinatown area..

in the end, stood in btwn 2 korean restaurants and went into this

Okay i have to admit!

This is the best meal i ever had in aussie!

Spicy tofu and kimchi soup! <3

Hardly see this in Canberra...

come to think of it.. i miss Shillawon in Suntec city!!

Went back to hostel

and mike was still not back yet...

anyway, the rest went for the theatre show at sydney opera house

I should have gone!

but i am not interested in theatre!!

so dont wana waste my 20AUD for it..

but they came back saying its good and funny

well so for the time-being, i was alone in the room

and guess what i did to pass time?

yea.. Yuukan Club..

"stole" mike's laptop to watch.. hee

back from my holidays!
hmm the entire trip was pretty fun
but i dislike the last day cos i was sick!!

Urgh!!!! i actually cried on the last day!!

not because i was so sad to leave sydney

but due to the throbbing headache that was so pain that i cry..

Lucky i had panadol from yoshi which i bot for him on the first day

anyway... i shall start this entry on the first day in sydney!

left ursula hall/canberra on the 14th april..

woke up really early.. like 6.45am australia time

and headed to Jolimont bay to take murrays coach to sydney

3 hours of journey on the bus...

i slept only a little bit.. surprisingly..
tot i would be sleeping all the way on the bus..

i guess i was too excited for the trip..

hmm we reached sydney central station and took a train to town hall

mike helped us buy the tickets...

that's him at the counter with the brown hair

outside town hall, we were on the way to base backpackers hotel..
to check in and put down our bags and luggages!!

at base backpackers!! so happy!!

quite a nice place..

our room...

after that we went for lunch in chinatown..

its about 10mins walk from base backpackers..

Then it started drizzling and we walked on.. hungry!!

decided on this japanese restaurant....

looks nice right? that's why we got attracted by it!!!

and when we went in.. they were playing japanese songs!!

I heard kinki kids' and koda kumi songs..

fits the atmosphere!

the inside.. neat and clean.. very jap-like

Each of us had don.. except michael..

he dint wana eat anything.. said he was not hungry

but.. he ordered a bowl of plain rice..

still.. here is what we all ordered!!! おいしいね!! =)

Everyone was happy and satisfied.....

went around walking, taking pics and shopping after tat!

And..... here is the couple of the day!!

Yoshi and tomomi...

they seems to be on a honeymoon.. lol!!

After a long tiring walk... we went to kinokuniya!!!

kailin wanted to buy some origami paper..

and we all wanted to see what its like..

in conclusion.. much smaller than the one in singapore!!

hmmm and something funny happen when we were there

mike had went off to buy some stuff so he dint follow us..

and when he smsed me to ask where we are..

i smsed tat we are at kinokuniya..

guess what he replied back??

"Ok.. order without me"

Haha!!! he tot kinokuniya is a restaurant!!

but we shall all forgive his mistake since he is a local!!

Met for dinner with mike after 6pm and had dinner at pepper lunch!

its kailin's first time eating pepper lunch

and she love it!! haha
tats my dinner!! so long since i ate this!!

and this ends our first day in sydney...

see!!!! its all japanese meals on the first day

and even a japanese bookstore!!!

haha.. guess we all love japan too much <3

ただいま！！

Hehe... time to blog and update!!!

Yesterday Kailin treated us to purple pickle cafe!

she won a AUD25 dollar voucher from international expo..

すばらしいね！

she's so nice to treat us.. thanks so much gal!!

and here is what we ordered for brunch

Me and michael shared the salmon sandwich

kailin had tandori chicken wrap

and yoshi and tomo shared a chicken sandwich

anyway its been ages since i have eaten salmon sandwich!!

taste sooo good!!! おいしい！

and then i took a pic of michael...

as he was just sitting opp me, i randomly took a pic of him..

okay so its very random..

think he will kill me if he knows i uploaded it online XP

and notice the blurred image of a guy behind.. its yoshi..

speaking of which.. he cut his hair!!!!

Not Mr. Messy anymore thou....

Just now after lunch, we went Brand Deport...

Its a large warehouse with many small shops

Quite alot of nice stuffs...

mainly clothes thou....

Had chocolate sundae at donut king after a 2 hour walk...

Headed back ursula hall while yoshi and tomo went on dinner date..

hahaha....shall not say more...

okay.. sydney trip on monday!!!!

sooo excited!!!!!

we have planned out where to go on the 4 days...

hee and i think james will lead us on one of the days...

oh yes, me, michael and tomo will be having a haircut in sydney

Tomomi wants to dye her hair too.. haha...yupp..

so i will upload photos and blog again after i'm back!! =)

then u can see the different hairstyles(including yoshi's new haircut) we all have!

Blood donation last friday!!!!
hehe.. was actually fun but tiring...
i am glad i did not faint or puke at all!!!
if not i have 3 people to carry me.. wahaha

Hmm.. i went with kailin, tomomi and leonard..
The mobile blood donation van was at University House
so we walked and reach there at 10.30am..
And there was only one guy inside already donating his blood..
Initially i was soooo scared!! 恐いね！
and i was the last one out of the 3 of us to start donating..
leonard couldnt donate cos he was recently sick and still recovering
Yea.. and the nurses lower the amount i need to give blood..
apparently, i "lied" to them about my weight... haha
i told them i was 50kg!!! that was what i weigh the last time kay!
But turns out on that day i weigh only 47.5kg....
Haha.. anway it was a success!!

Yesterday was international expo!!!!
Hmm not very fun.. but the cooking was fun!!!
Me and michael met yoshi at B&G hall for cooking..
Guess what are we cooking??
Curry udon!!! hee.. おいしいです！
All thanks to the main cook, yoshi!!
Michael dint really help the Japan Team much..
He went to Korea Team to help with the dancing...!!
Haha... traitor! but i am also one.. cos i helped the japan team!!
The afternoon started with the cultural shows...
Singapore cultural show was boring... why??
Because all they present was the SAF!!!!!
I cant totally blame them because there are only 2 people in the team
And both are guys... so.. naturally they will talk about SAF...ALOT...
Which i dont understand why..??? cos Spore is not all about SAF.. k!!
But the guys in spore love talking about it....!!
Why cant they present changi airport or some other attractions of spore..
LOL... i got bored by their presentation and they took 30 mins to present!!!
We were only allowed 5 mins!!!!!
haha.. anway, in the end, i think Team Korea won?
I wasnt very sure cos there were alot of awards..
but Team Japan dint win any.. sob!!
I am thinking we cooked the curry udon too early..
so everything became quite soggy.. like wad yoshi says..
"Curry udon becomes Mee Goreng" lol
but still it was a fun day for all of us.. =)

Haha i need to blog if not kena say i dont blog often =P
Ya.. my blogging duties.... haha

Hmm time flies really fast in australia!!
Not just because its 3 hours faster than spore (yea!!)
its the pace of studying and tests, quizzes all rushing towards me..
Thou i havent even touch a single assignment yet...lol..
anyway they are due in mid may... so....
i will mug during the 2-weeks break after the sydney trip...
Am also having two mid sem after the break too...
So i think i will just die in May!!!

Gonna be back in spore in july...
then going back again after about 3 weeks..
And when i am back to ursula hall...
i will see new faces as well as miss some old faces!
sob! =(
Haiz.. well, lucky for facebook!!
cos all my international friends have facebook!
